Legal action against 53 firms

ERODE: The Labour Department has initiated legal action against 53 commercial establishments for violation of rules recently.

Officials from the Department conducted surprise checks in various parts in of district including Erode town, Bhavani, Gobichettipalayam, Sathyamangalam and Perundurai following widespread complaints about unfair trade practices.
