Candidates told to submit expenditure details

ERODE: The district administration has asked the candidates contesting in Assembly polls to submit the details of their election expenses to the officials concerned.

Candidates contesting in Erode East, Erode West and Modakurichi constituencies should submit their expenditure details on April 4, 7 and 11 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Those contesting in Perundurai and Gobichettipalayam segments could submit their expenditure details on April 5 and 9, Bhavani and Anthiyur segments on April 2, 6 and 10, and Bhavanisagar segment on April 3,7 and 11. The details should be submitted to the election expenses monitoring officers or the expenditure observers in person by the candidate or his/her representative. Election Expenditure Observer Kalyan Nath found an Independent candidate in Modakurichi Assembly segment using the vehicle without permission
