Mother, daughter shot dead

LUCKNOW: A mother-daughter duo were killed by two unidentified man in UP's Mainpuri district, police said here on Friday.

The incident took place at Devinagar village in Kurawali area. Two unidentified persons shot dead 55-year-old Sonkali and her 18-year-old daughter Nisha in their house, they said.

The motive behind the killing is yet to be ascertained, police said. - PTI
