Power shutdown timings

VIJAYAWADA: Power supply will be shut down for consumers in Gunadala, Ring Road and K.G. Market sections of Southern Power Distribution Company of AP between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m on Saturday for taking up maintenance and changing of power lines.

According to a press release consumers living in and around Siddhartha Medical College, ESI Hospital, Christurajapuram, Vijayanagar Colony, Old Panchayat Office area, Ayyappa Nagar, Nagamani Hotel Road, Dr. NTR Government General Hospital, Dr. NTR Health University, Arul Nagar, Mytrinagar and Government Dental College Road will not have power supply from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Similarly, power consumers of Ring Road Section living in Bharathi Nagar, Srinivasnagar Bank Colony, Gurunanak Colony, Subbarao Colony, Timarisu Street and CTO Colony will not have power supply from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Consumers of K.G. Market section living in Brahmanaveedi, Mallikarjunapet, Upparvagu, Pothinavari Street, Arjun Street, Jammadooddi, Police quarters (near municipal office), Gunturuvari Street, Akulavari Street, Seshaiah Street, Avulavari Street and Rayalavari Street will not have power supply from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Electricity Consumers Day will be observed at the Southern Power Distribution Company Superintending Engineer (Operations) office opposite the Swaraj Maidan Rythu Bazaar on Saturday.

Grievance redressal

Consumers interested in grievance redressal could avail of the opportunity and submit representation in person from 11 a.m. onwards.
