Minister orders release of Rs.70 lakh for Urdu Ghar

HYDERABAD: Minorities Welfare Minister Mohmmed Ahamadullah ordered the Urdu Academy to release Rs.70 lakh for repair of the Urdu Ghar at Motigally in the old city.

The Minister, who visited the Urdu Ghar on Saturday, asked the executive engineer to change the roof of the auditorium, increase the height of the dais and arrange for false ceiling in the rooms and auditorium.

Polished stones

He wanted the open land earth surrounding the building to be covered with polished stones so that the auditorium can be put to full use. Charminar MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri and officials were present on the occasion.
