Mysoora disinclined to contest from Kadapa
Special Correspondent
KADAPA: Telugu Desam Party's Rajya Sabha member M.V. Mysoora Reddy asserted on Saturday that he was not keen on contesting from Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency.
Dr. Reddy said contesting to the by-elections to Parliament from Kadapa now was his last priority, but he would abide by the party leadership if it directed him to contest the polls.
Speaking to The Hindu here, the MP hoped that the party president N. Chandrababu Naidu would finalise a candidate and he would extend his full-fledged support to him. If the party did not find a suitable candidate and finalised his name, he would contest as a disciplined partyman. Dr. Mysoora Reddy said he had advised TDP leader Kandula Rajamohana Reddy to meet Mr. Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad on April 5, after he returned from Singapore, if he desired to contest for Lok Sabha seat.
