KOZHIKODE: Vishu Fair 2011 was inaugurated by General Manager of the District Industries Centre M.V. Yohannan on the Regional Public Health Laboratory premises on Pavamani Road on Sunday. Around 30 handloom societies besides Hantex and Hanveev are taking part. The fair will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saris, dhoties, shirtings, furnishings and floor mats will be sold at a rebate of 20 per cent. The fair will be open till April 12.
