KOCHI: The formation of the State of Orissa, Utkal Divas or Orissa Day 2011, was celebrated with fanfare here on Sunday by Utkalika — the Cochin Oriya Association, Kerala. Justice Bhabani Prasad Ray of the High Court of Kerala inaugurated the event and to mark the occasion released the souvenir Chandrabhaga, a compilation of art, culture and literary affairs of the Oriya community. At the programme, Arun Kumar Das, president of Utkalika, welcomed the gathering.
