BANGALORE: Karnataka Women's Ho0ckey Association (KSWHA) will host the 56th senior National women's hockey championship at the KSHA stadium here from April 6 to 14. Speaking at a press briefing here on Sunday afternoon, Ms. Radha Murthy, President KSWHA said, “we were allotted this championship about two years ago. Lot of water has flowed under since then…but now that the moment has come we are all geared for the championships.” Thirty teams (two more are likely to confirm by Monday) have been divided into eight pools. After the league stage the top team from each pool will clash in the quarterfinals. ``With the Supreme Court judgement due in around 10 days time, hopefully the tiff between IHF and Hockey India will be resolved. But as far as I am concerned the players should not suffer in any way and I permitted the players to go ahead with the nationals conducted by the Hockey India at Haryana last month. — Special Correspondent
