PUDUCHERRY: Six territorial government employees, belonging to different departments, were suspended here on Saturday after they were found campaigning for candidates contesting the Assembly elections. District Electoral Officer and Collector G. Ragesh Chandra said that following reports of their involvement in canvassing for several candidates, an inquiry was conducted. After the charge was proved in the enquiry, they were suspended from work, he said.
