State to felicitate Team India

HYDERABAD: The State government will honour members of the Indian cricket team that won the World Cup. Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy announced this at the Ugadi celebrations in response to a plea made by Tourism & Sports Minister Vatti Vasanth Kumar that the State too should reward the cricket team. Agriculture Minister Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy and Endowments Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao, who submitted their letters of resignation, stayed away from the function.
