Ashvarya and Ankita bow out

LUCKNOW: Maya Wakui of Japan defeated third-seeded Ashvarya Shrivastava 6-2, 6-4 in the first round of the Jaypee $10,000 ITF women's tennis tournament at the Oudh Gymkhana Club courts here on Monday.
