Ashok all praise for Hazare

VIZIANAGARAM: Expressing solidarity with social activist Anna Hazare's fight against corruption, TDP Polit Bureau member P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju said that the response from people, particularly youth across the country, was laudable.
Addressing a press conference on Friday evening, Mr. Ashok said that the government had framed legislations on corruption long ago but they were not being adopted effectively. Quoting instances of various scams, he said in the multi-crore 2G Spectrum, the government had not initiated action until there was an uproar at every forum. Though Congress is in power in both State and at the Centre, their demand for a probe into land dealings in the State was not conceded and there was no action so far. In the case of Volkswagen, the minister concerned was let off, he added.
