VIJAYAWADA: Looking for some gold and diamond traditional jewellery with the purity and workmanship that would last a lifetime? Then the four-day exhibition of some exclusive jewellery at The Gateway Hotel in the city, organised by Chennai-based Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers is where you should head. Premier jewellery in gold, diamond and silver are on display and the silver dinner set at the entrance is sure to catch every visitor's attention. Geetha, a city dweller was happy that she did not have to make a trip to Chennai to see this collection and make a purchase in time for a function at home. “We are trying to open a store in the future and improve our customer base through such exhibition as we have a large number of customers coming from this part of the State to Chennai frequently to buy jewellery very often,” said the VBJ representative V. Jagadish. Zita Collection of jewellery with microscopic diamond-studded chains, studs, rings and other ornaments for the new generation, were exquisitely crafted and tastefully designed, drawing inspiration from Italian creativity, he added.

Lord Venkateswara's padukas made of gold would be displayed on Sunday at the exhibition for a day.

The exhibition is on till Monday.
