THANJAVUR: Senthil Kumar (36), an Armed Reserve Police constable, of Thippirajapuram, who was posted at Papanasam taluk office on poll duty was injured when his gun accidently went off on Friday. According to the police Senthil Kumar had accidently triggered the gun while checking it. The bullet hit his throat. Sivabaskar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Papanasam, rushed him to the Thanjavur Medical College Hospital, where he is being treated.
