Sai Baba's condition stable

Anantapur: The health condition of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who was admitted to hospital on March 28, continued to be stable with all his vital parameters being near normal.

According to a medical bulletin issued by Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram, at 5 p.m. on Friday, his kidneys were continuing to show signs of recovery and the infection in the lungs was much less, although it is still a matter of concern.

He continued to be on ventilator support for respiration and is on slow dialysis.

All other vital systems are functioning satisfactorily. The panel of doctors treating him is satisfied with the progress Baba has made so far, the bulletin said.
