CPI leader Ramakoteswara Rao dead

HYDERABAD: Meka Ramakoteswara Rao, senior CPI leader and executive member of Chandra Rajeswara Rao Foundation, died his native place in Repalle of Guntur district on Friday. He was 84 and is survived by a son and three daughters.
Mr. Ramakoteswara Rao had played a prominent role as CPI State committee member in Guntur district Communist and people's movements.
A close follower of Ch. Rajeswara Rao, he was actively associated with the construction of old age home taken up by C.R. Foundation for Social Progress, and lived there as an inmate till recently and rendered his services .
CPI national deputy general secretary and C.R. Foundation president Suravaram Sudhakara Reddy, and others condoled his death.
