HYDERABAD: The Director of Government Examinations, Pronoti Suhasini has ordered for disciplinary action against police officials and Education Department officials for their lapse in giving a wrong trunk box from the Falaknuma police station on April 2.

In a statement here, she said that sealed trunk box of Day 12 examination was given to the Chief Superintendent of Venkat Rao Memorial High School Examination Centre on April 2 along with an empty trunk. After the mistake was noticed the box was brought back to the police station. Later, a panchanama was done on April 7 and the packets containing question papers of OSSC exam to be conducted on April 8 were found to be intact. However, action will be taken against the concerned officials for bringing out the box much before the due date.
