Removal of college director sought
Ghaziabad: Pharmacy students of a local private college here protested on Sunday against its management and demanded the removal of its director.
Students of Sunder Deep College in the district alleged that the management has asked extra money from those students, whose internal performance was poor, failing which they will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
Students charged the director of the college S.K. Sharma with giving poor marks to them in internal examinations.
They also staged dharna with the girl who attempted to commit suicide on Thursday and charged that due to director's atrocities she attempted to commit suicide.
Students threatened to continue their agitation if the management would not consider their problems seriously. However, Mr. Sharma has denied all the allegations. -- PTI
