HYDERABAD: For the second time in less than a week, Agriculture Minister Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy met the Chief Minister, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, insisting that his resignation letter be forwarded to the Governor for acceptance. Mr. Vivekananda Reddy, who is the Congress candidate from Pulivendula Assembly constituencytook a break from campaigning and came to the city on Sunday to discus the resignation issue with Mr. Reddy. The Congress candidate is determined that his resignation should be accepted so that he does not draw criticism of misusing power as a Minister. He is believed to have made it clear that unless he wins from Pulivendula, he would not seek re-induction into the Cabinet. Meanwhile, Health Minister D. L.Ravindra Reddy, who is the party nominee for Kadapa Lok Sabha seat, is said to have decided against quitting his post. He reportedly reasoned that his continuation in the Cabinet would not impact or influence the by-polls.
