Essay contest to promote ayurveda

Kozhikode: The Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala has invited essays in English or Malayalam for the award of “Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier Prizes-2011” for promoting research in ayurveda. Cash awards of Rs. 25,000 and Rs.15,000 will be given to entries adjudged first and second. The competition this year will be on the theme “aavaranam.” Entries should reach Managing Trustee, Arya Vaidyasala, Kottakal, Malappuram district - 676503 before August 31.
