Seeking support: TDP leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu calling on former Minister

KADAPA: TDP Parliamentary Party president K. Yerran Naidu and party MLAs Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and Revanth Reddy called upon the party rank and file on Monday to strive relentlessly for the victory of Rajya Sabha member M.V. Mysoora Reddy from Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency and Mareddy Ravindranath Reddy from Pulivendula Assembly constituency.

The leaders addressed partymen at a meeting in the TDP office at Yerramukkapalle, which was re-opened last night after a three-month closure. They exhorted partymen to enlighten people on amassing of wealth by YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jaganmohana Reddy and the Congress government's failure to ensure people's welfare. Later, party leaders Ramakrishnudu, C.M. Ramesh Naidu and city party president K. Balakrishna Yadav called on former Minister S.A. Khaleel Basha, who is resting in his residence here with hand and leg fractures sustained in an accident last month. They enquired Dr. Basha's health condition and sought the support of his followers. Dr. Basha, who had quit the TDP and joined Praja Rajyam, was planning a comeback into TDP, when he met with an accident. Dr. Basha's sons were present.

Meanwhile, party MLAs G. Muddukrishnama Naidu, B. Gopalakrishna Reddy and Abdul Ghani and former Minister P. Ramasubba Reddy addressed party functionaries in Jamalamadugu.
