Kozhikode: The former Minister and KPCC executive committee member K.K. Ramachandran has said that Congress leaders Ramesh Chennithala and Oommen Chandy should declare publicly that they will not become ministers or Chief Minister if elected to the Assembly, as they were facing corruption charges. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Mr. Ramachandran said the people would always be doubtful about their honesty if they became ministers with the corruption charges standing against them. “That is not good for the future of the Congress as a political party,” he said.
