It's uncivilised, says Pranab

KOLKATA: Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has dismissed as “uncivilised” Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan's remark terming All India Congress Committee general secretary Rahul Gandhi an “Amul baby.”

Mr. Mukherjee was talking to journalists here on Monday. “I do not like to respond to such uncivilised comments.” It was reflective of Mr. Achuthanandan's taste.

Mr. Achuthanandan's remark reportedly was in response to Mr. Gandhi's jibe at his age.
