Six killed in road accident

HYDERABAD: Six passengers of an A.P.S.R.T.C. bus were killed while 13 more sustained injuries when it ploughed into a stationary truck near Sholapur in Maharashtra on Monday.
APSRTC authorities said on Tuesday that four of the victims were identified as, Ashappa, 29, of Kashampally in Mahbubnagar, Kanyasri, 9, of Kodakanda in Mahbubnagar, Advappa, 35, of Gadiriyal in Ranga Reddy, and Amboji, 50, of Kodangal in Mahbubnagar. The two unidentified victims too were believed to be from Andhra Pradesh, the RTC Ranga Reddy regional manager, C. Vinod Kumar, said from Sholapur.
The accident took place around 11.45 p.m. on Monday.
