HYDERABAD: Yamaha Motor has entered into a one-year partnership deal with Hyderabad-based franchisee Deccan Chargers for the on-going fourth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), according to Mr. Roy Kurian, National Business Head, India Yamaha Motor. “With cricket being the unofficial religion in India, what better way to be associated with the game than the mega event — IPL. Yamaha has a strong presence in the Hyderabad market and being associated with Deccan Chargers will surely be of mutual benefit and productive,” Mr. Kurian said in a statement here. As part of the deal, Yamaha's brand logo will also feature on all promotions done by Chargers across various communication material branding including DC programme catalogue and web promotion. — Special Correspondent
