HYDERABAD: Lemon Tree Hotels launched a 267-room hotel in the heart of Hi-Tec City targeting the upper middle class clientele offering luxury at an affordable price. Patu Keswani, Chairman and Managing Director of Lemon Tree Hotel, told a press conference here on Tuesday that it is a world class, affordable, and upscale hotel product, which offers luxury at half the price of a five-star hotel. Room tariffs range from Rs.3,500 to Rs.7,000. The group's another brand ‘Red Fox' is priced at 50 per cent of Lemon Tree chain and is targeted at the 25-age group clients who wish to enjoy luxury at a highly affordable price -- Rs.1,700 to Rs.3,500. Both the hotels in Hyderabad exist in the same area. Mr. Keswani said another Red Fox property will come up soon at Gachibowli. This is the fifth Lemon Tree hotel in South India and the group now owns and operates an inventory of 1,500 rooms across its 14 properties pan-India. He said in the next two years, Lemon Tree Hotels will add six hotels to its existing portfolio taking the total room capacity to 2,800, owning two per cent of all hotel rooms in the country. The hotel features a state-of-the-art fitness centre, spa, Fresco, a rooftop swimming pool and a fully equipped business centre to address every need of the traveller. A unique aspect of the hotel is that 4 per cent of the employees are hearing impaired and as a policy, they are used both at front end and back end operations.
