Raring to go: Candidates filling applications at the Air Force recruitment rally held at Dundigal in Medak district on Wednesday. —

SANGAREDDY: The Air Force Academy located at Dundigal in Medak district held a rally for recruitment of personnel on Wednesday. There was a huge rush at the registration counter. Launching the rally, Collector S. Suresh Kumar said that the youth should use the opportunity being offered by the Air Force to nurture their careers. The District Youth Welfare Department was directed to provide facilities to the youth coming to the recruitment rally.

Though more than 4,000 candidates registered their names, around 3,000 aspirants were able to participate in the rally held for technical grade due to various reasons including that of not having proper certificates. For non-technical grade the rally would be held on April 15.
