PARIS: Brazil climbed to third place in the latest FIFA world rankings published on Wednesday, knocking Germany off the podium and dropping South American rival Argentina one place to fifth. Brazil beat Scotland 2-0 in its last match, a friendly in London on March 27. World Cup semifinalist Germany fell to a shock 2-1 defeat at home to Australia on March 29.
