NEW DELHI: The Congress on Wednesday named Ajay Singh, son of late Congress leader Arjun Singh, as the Madhya Pradesh Legislature Party leader.

The post was lying vacant for over six months since Jamuna Devi's death.

A four-time MLA, Mr. Choudhury was appointed the acting CLP leader in November last after death of Jamuna Devi, 81, in September last.

Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria was named Pradesh Congress Committee chief in the place of Suresh Pachauri.
