South China downs East Bengal

KOLKATA: East Bengal saw its hopes in the AFC Cup suffering another blow when the team lost by a solitary goal to South China FC of Hong Kong at the latter's home in a Group ‘H' league encounter on Wednesday.

South China FC striker Mateja Kezman scored the match-winner in the 69th minute, according to information received here.

East Bengal remains at the bottom of the four-team group table with just one point from three matches.
