Complaint filed against Minister

PANAJI: The Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC), south Goa, on Thursday filed a police complaint against Revenue Minister Jose Phlip D'Souza for “grabbing MMC land” at Kharewaddo in Mormugao.
The Minister said on Thursday that neither he nor any of his family members had tampered with any Land Revenue records or municipal records by misuse of power or otherwise. He said that he would abide by the law while regularising his ancestral house. Three citizens already filed a complaint with the Anti-corruption Bureau of Vigilance Department against the Minister.
