MANGALORE: The team from NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, qualified for the TCS “TechBytes 2011” a State-level IT quizto be held in Bangalore on Friday. The team comprising of Raghavendra Kamath. B and Krishananda Baliga won the Mangalore Regional round of the quiz organised here on Wednesday. The TCS “TechBytes 2011” is being jointly organised by the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and the Board of IT Education Standars for engineering students, according to a press release. Students from 30 engineering colleges from Mangalore, Hassan, Chickmagalur, and Shimoga participated in the regional round here at the Srinivas Institute of Technology. It began with a preliminary written test. Six teams qualified for the interactive quiz that was compered by quizmaster Giri Balasubramanium.
