Getting to know how they tick:National vice-president of India China Friendship Association G.S. BANGALORE: In an effort to boost ties between India and China, a programme was organised by the India China Friendship Association (ICFA) and Air China here on Saturday. The programme was organised in the light of China National Tourist Office (CNTO) declaring 2011 as the Year for China-India Exchange and China Cultural Tour. ‘Bridging the gap' Karnataka High Court Judge Javad Rahim, who inaugurated the programme, said tourism is not only a business, but also educative. “Unless we cross borders and live with others, we will not know how they are. This gap can be bridged through tourism,” he added. On the Indo-Chinese relationship, he said both countries had great histories and shared a common thought on the issue of global change.
