Good knock by Chetan Sharma

NEW DELHI: A fine knock by Chetan Sharma (86 not out) and a tight spell by left-arm spinner Bharat Awasthi (three for 21) enabled Food Corporation of India (FCI) beat Tedco Group by five wickets to enter the pre-quarterfinals of the all-India Om Nath Sood Memorial cricket tournament here on Saturday.

The scores: Tedco Group 193 for seven in 40 overs ((Sandeep Tyagi 54 not out, Bharat Awasthi three for 21) lost to FCI 196 for five in 36 overs (Chetan Sharma 86 not out, Rajinder Bisht 35) . — Special Correspondent
