Help promised for eco-tourism

BANGALORE: Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs S. Suresh Kumar has said that he will extend help to Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd. (KIOCL) to develop eco-tourism at Kudremukh, jointly with Jungle Lodges and Resorts. According to a statement, Mr. Kumar held discussions with senior officials of KIOCL, a Government of India undertaking, and Jungle Lodges and Resorts, a Government of Karnataka undertaking, at Kudremukh recently.

The meeting was attended by Executive Director of Jungle Lodges Sanjay Mohan, KIOCL Chairman and Managing Director K Ranganath, Mudigere MLA M.P. Kumaraswamy and Deputy Commissioner of Chikmagalur N.S. Channappa Gowda.
