Gang murders man in broad daylight

Nagercoil: An anti-social element was murdered in a broad daylight on Monday at Monday Market.

According to the police, Nagarajan (40) belonging to Thiruvidaicode near Villukuri was a noted criminal.

However, he was living along with his family members at Karungal. When he was collecting the lease money at the shops at Monday Market, a gang, which came there in a vehicle, attacked him with deadly weapons. The critically injured, Nagarajan, was taken to the Government Hospital, where the doctors declared him “brought dead.”

The police have registered a case and are further investigating.
