Kolkata: Two polling officers, including a presiding officer, have died in West Bengal after suffering heart attack, Chief Electoral Officer Sunil Gupta said on Tuesday. Both the incidents occurred in Jalpaiguri district on Monday when the six-phase polling for the 2011 Assembly elections commenced in the State. The CEO said that repolling will be held at two booths in Karandighi in North Dinajpur and Natabari in Cooch-Behar. Deputy Election Commissioner Vinod Zutshi is coming to the State on a three-day visit from Wednesday to check the arrangements for the third and the fourth phase of the polls.
