PNM's campaign against graft

Special Correspondent

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Praja Natya Mandali is launching a campaign against corruption, mining of bauxite and other minerals, displacing farmers for the sake of SEZs and farmers and fishermen in the name of power plants along the coast and spiralling prices.

The bad deeds of the government and the need to launch struggle by the people would be explained through songs, skits and other art forms the PNM has prepared, its leaders said at a press conference here on Tuesday.

To provide training for members of its 3,800 dalams, PNM is organising a workshop here from April 20 to 25. As many as 150 delegates from all over the State will attend the workshop, being organised by the district committee of PNM at Ukku Nagaram. Several programmes will also be held in the city.

State secretary of PNM R. Ramesh, president M. Jaggaraju and district secretary G. Ramana addressed the press conference.
