MANGALORE: A large number of people are expected to converge at the office of the Deputy Commissioner on April 26 demanding, among other things, houses for the poor.
The Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha and the Democratic Youth Federation of India are organising the protest the programme.
DYFI district president Muneer Katipalla told presspersons here on Friday that the DYFI would submit the last of the applications that it had collected for allotment of government sites and housing.
The two organisations had collected thousands of applications from gram panchayats and local bodies.
