CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Police's (TNP) hopes of clinching the St. Joseph's-Chennai Football Association (CFA) senior division league title suffered a major jolt after a goalless draw against Indian Bank at the Nehru Stadium, here on Sunday. TNP has 15 points from eight matches. It has to score a victory in its remaining two matches — against FCI on April 27 and AG's Office on May 1, the last day of the league, and hope that Customs (19 points) loses its last league match to S. Rly. AG's (17 points), too, can possibly win the title if it beats MSU on April 25. The league is still, theoretically, a three-horse race. It was an exciting contest between Indian Bank and TNP with both going all out for a win. There was action throughout the match and each had their share of chances. Ramanan of TNP was adjudged the Man of the Match. Earlier in the first division, Jagadeesan converted in Nethaji's solitary-goal win over Challengers Union. — Special Correspondent
