Additional charge for Aslam Wani
JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday gave Minister of State Nasir Aslam Wani the additional charge of the Home Department.
Mr. Wani, now Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development and Tourism, will be deputy to the Chief Minister, who also holds the Home portfolio. “Mr. Omar Abdullah today [Tuesday] gave the responsibility of the MoS Home portfolio to Mr. Wani, and orders to this effect were issued,” Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Divender Rana said. Mr. Wani was elected from Amirakadal in Srinagar. — PTI
