VISAKHAPATNAM: Nataraj Music and Dance Academy in the city will honour 60 dance teachers, who are engaged in teaching classical and folk dances for the past few decades, on the occasion of the World Dance Day on April 29. Announcing this at a media conference here on Tuesday, chairman of the academy Rekhala Krishna Goud said that a rally would be take out from Kali temple on the beach road to Gurazada Kalakshetram in Siripuram in the evening in which 400 folk artistes would take part. They would be presented new clothes at Gurazada Kalakshetram, where the teachers would be honoured, he said. Founder-president of the academy Bathina Vikram Goud said that a dance troupe from Japan would also arrive to perform on the occasion.
