Course in basic photography at OU

HYDERABAD: A 10-day certificate course in ‘Basic Photography' is being conducted by the Department of Communication and Journalism, Osmania University, from April 27 to May 6, 2011. Classes will be held daily from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the Journalism Department, Arts College building, Osmania University campus. The course is open to all including school children who are interested in pursuing photography as a hobby and as well as a career in the future. As a part of the course, candidates will be exposed to the use of computers and photo editing software in all practical classes. They are advised to bring in their own digital cameras. On successful completion, a certificate of participation will be awarded.

The course fee is Rs. 1,000. Interested candidates can call on 2709 8422 or 2768 2258 or 9912616606 for registration, K. Narender, Head of the Department, said in a statement.
