Double tragedy for Ramya

MIRJAPURAM (Krishna Dt.): It was a double tragedy for 20-year old Ramya on Tuesday. Even as she was coming to terms with loss of her husband 10 days ago, she lost her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Deepika.
Ms. Ramya could not rush to hospital along with her daughter as she was eighth months pregnant, and her relatives did not allow her stepping out of house. As if her prayers were not answered, the villagers brought the news that her daughter was no more.
“It's very unfortunate that I cannot go to the hospital to see my daughter's body,” she said weeping inconsolably.
