Be inquisitive, science students told

KOCHI: The inquisitiveness to learn more is the basis of science, Ramachandran Thekkedath, Vice-Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology, has said.

In his inaugural address at ‘Physics: scope and awareness' workshop organised by the Department of Physics at Cochin University of Science and Technology on Monday, Dr. Thekkedath said that science learning would become a unique experience, if students could step up their desire to gain knowledge.

M. Junaid Bushiri, convener of the workshop, said that the five-day event for school students organised by the Physics department of the university aims at imparting basic awareness about Physics.
