UPGRADING:Bangalore University Vice-Chancellor N. Prabhu Dev (centre) BANGALORE: “Information Communication Technology (ICT)-enabled higher education is the future of learning; it will solve the problems of lack of research, teacher-student miscommunication and the online integration of universities will ensure that India's graduates will pass out as globally aware citizens,” said Bangalore University Vice Chancellor N. Prabhu Dev. He was speaking at the launch of Talisma Corporation's advanced software solutions for higher education in India here Tuesday. Talisma is a solution of Campus Management, a software system provider for administrative and constituent relationships management (CRM) purposes. Talisma has already created higher education solutions for universities abroad and has started working with Bangalore University. In the next 45 days, it will create a new user-friendly website. Timothy B. Loomer, president and chief executive officer of campus management, said: “We intend to think globally and act locally. Even our marketing strategies vary from the ones we use in London to those we use in India or Australia.”
