Tirupur: As many as four children and an elderly woman were reported missing in two incidents in the city.
Police said Jeevanantham (6) and Jeeva Santhosh (5) along with their grandmother Saralammal (60), were reported missing from P.N.Road area. The old woman went to pick up the children from Corporation Elementary school situated in the locality on Monday but they did not reach home, police sources said. In the other case, two sisters aged 16 and 15 years of age were missing after going out from their house situated near Corporation Town hall. The girls were said to have been scolded by their father for coming late from the typewriting class, hours before they went missing, police said.
