Shagun 27th
NEW DELHI: Stiff winds played havoc as Shagun Chowdhary finished 27th with a total of 62 in women's trap in the Shotgun World Cup in Beijing on Tuesday. She had a series of 21, 21, 20.
The silver medallist at the Dorset World Cup last year, Seema Tomar, struggled most among the Indians and ended up 41st in a field of 51, with a total of 56, following a sequence of 23, 15 and 18.
The results: Women's trap: 1. Jessica Rossi (Ita) 89 (2) 69; 2. Rachael Lynn Heiden (US) 89 (1) 73; Yi Chun Lin (Tpe) 87 (68); 27. Shagun Chowdhary 62. MQS: Snehalata Singh Rajawat 56; Varsha Tomar 48 .
