‘Prevent human rights violation'

Mysore: The National Human Rights Commission has directed the State Government to take steps to prevent human right violations, an official release said here on Wednesday.

The deputy commissioners and the superintendents of police in the districts should take serious note of cases relating to human rights violations. As many as 147 cases were reported in the State in 2009-10, the release said.
